Two killed as bus rams bike in Ctg

Two people were killed when a motorcycle collided head-on with a bus in Chittagong on Tuesday afternoon. Police identified the victims as Nurul Kabir, 35, and Rajiur Rahman Raju, 36. Both of them were residents of the port city’s Uttar Kattoli. Highway police's Baro Awlia outpost SI Mizanur Rahman said the victims were on their way from the city to attend an Eid-ul-Fitr programme in Sitakunda Upazila. A Chittagong-bound bus rammed the motorcycle from the front at Bagula Bazar on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway killing the two bikers on the spot, he said. Locals stopped the bus but the driver fled the scene, according to bdnews24.com.
