Two killed as pick-up van hits truck in N'ganj

NARAYANGANJ, Oct 10 (UNB): Two fish traders were killed and four others injured as a pickup van carrying them hit a stationary truck on Dhaka-Chattogram Highway at Shimrail intersection in Siddhirganj upazila of Narayaganj on Tuesday.
The dead are Rampad Chandra Das (40) and Chinta Das, hailing from Meghna upazila of Cumilla.
The injured--Abdul Baten (40), Krishna Chandra Das (55), Joy Mangal (48), and a unidentified person , are also from the same upazila.
Babul Miah, SI of Kanchpur Highway thana, said the fish traders were going to Jatrabari wholesale fish market by the pickup van in the early morning.
