Two killed in BGB Dinajpur shootout

Two people were killed in a shootout between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and alleged smugglers along Dinajpur's Birampur border on Tuesday. The deceased were identified as Shaheen, 26, restaurateur, and his employee Sultan, 23, of Rail Station area. OC of Birampur Police Station Amiruzzaman said Shaheen and Sultan were shot dead when the BGB men opened fire after the 'smugglers' started hurling brickbats on them.
