Two killed in Dinajpur land dispute

DINAJPUR, April 18: Two people were killed in connection with a land dispute in Nababganj Saturday, after allegedly being "struck by arrows." The dead were identified as Azizul Haque (25) and Emdadul Haque (40) of Kachua village, said Golam Maola, officer-in-charge of Nababganj Police Station. Five locals were arrested following the incident, he said. "A group of indigenous people led by Rudu Soren threw arrows at Aziz and Emdad as they went to work on the disputed piece of land in the morning," said the OC. — bdnews24.com
