Two killed in Gopalganj road accident

GOPALGANJ, Dec 10 (UNB): Two people were killed and 35 others injured as a bus plunged into a road side ditch at Ratoil in Kashiani upazila on Dhaka-Khulna highway Friday night.
The deceased were identified as bus helper Sohrab, 22, and passenger Monir, 30. Both hailed from Pirojpur district.
Witnesses said as the driver of the Dhaka bound bus from Pirojpur lost control over the steering it fell into the ditch, leaving the two dead on the spot at about 9:30 pm.
Among the injured, 22 people were admitted to Kashiani uapzila health complex.
