Two killed in road accidents in Kurigram

KURIGRAM, Mar 22 (BSS): Two persons including a minor boy were killed in two separate road accidents in the district Monday night. Police and local sources said the minor boy was killed when a speedy bus hit him while he was crossing the Ashar Mor area under Nageshawari Upazila yesterday evening. The deceased was identified as Redwan (8), son of Mozammel Haque of Ashar area. In another incident, Anath Chandra Barman (25) was killed when a speedy truck hit the autorickshaw carrying him at Singer Bhita village under Paira Danga union of the district at about 8pm. Anath was seriously injured and was rushed to Kurigram Sadar Hospital where he died. Two separate cases were filed regarding the accidents.
