Two killed in road mishap

LAXMIPUR, July 14 (UNB): A three-wheeler tempo driver, who was injured in a road accident, died at Sadar Hospital Friday.
Police said a speeding truck hit the tempo near Jhumur Cinema Hall in the town Thursday leaving its driver Yusuf (24) critically injured.
He was admitted to Sadar Hospital where he succumbed Friday afternoon.
Another report from Noakhali adds: A speeding power tiller plunged into a roadside ditch at Amtali village under Sonaimuri Upazila Thursday leaving its driver Rana (22), dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
