Two killed in separate incidents in Lalmonirhat, Dinajpur

Two people, including a minor, were killed in separate incidents in Lalmonirhat and Dinajpur districts on Friday. Minor boy Miraz, 4, son of Milan Hossain, a resident of Post Office Para area in Patgram Upazila in Lalmonirhat district drowned in Dharla River while he was playing on its bank in absence of his parents and neighbours at around 10:00am. In another incident, a bicyclist was killed on the spot after a pickup van hit his bicycle in Auto Rice Mill point area on Parbotipur-Rangpur road under Parbotipur Upazila of Dinajpur district in the afternoon. The deceased was identified as Tofazzal Hossain, 15, son of Sabed Ali of Borderhat Basarpara village of Badarganj Upazila of Rangpur district, according to a news agency.
