Two killed in \\\'shootouts\\\'

JHENIDAH, July 12: Two activists of an outlawed party were killed in two incidents of 'shootout' between their cohorts and police in Kotchandpur and Harinakunda uapzilas of Jhenidah district early Saturday. One of the deceased was identified as Abdur Rashid, 30, an activist of Purba Banglar Communist Party and a resident of Srirampur village in Kotchandpur uapzila. Another activist of the same outlawed party was killed in another incident of gunfight with police earlier at midnight. — UNB
