Two killed, three injured in road accident

Two persons were killed and three others injured when a truck collided head-on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Katabaria area under Shajahanpur Upazila in Bogra district on Thursday evening. Police and locals said a Bogra bound truck from Dhaka collided head on with a CNG-run tempo coming from the opposite direction. After the collision the truck fell into a road side ditch and one Abdur Rashid, 60, died on the spot. A motorcyclist – Shahidul Islam – was injured in the accident who subsequently succumbed to his injuries in a local hospital. Other Injured persons were admitted to Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in Bogra town, according to a news agency.
