Two men found murdered in Chuadanga

Police have recovered dead bodies of two young men from Damurhuda Upazila in Chuadanga with their throats slit. The two murdered were identified as Selim Uddin, 32, and Sabur Hossain, 28, of Mujibnagar Upazila in Meherpur. Both were cousins. Police suspect the twin murders could be linked to hitch over share of extortion. Damurhuda Model Police Station OC Ahsan Habib said locals called them after finding the two corpses at the Kanai Babu ground at Mohajonpur on Monday morning. Then they recovered the bodies. Selim and Sabur worked as security guards at a brick kiln at Damurhuda’s Boalmarhi area. Meherpur’s Mujibnagar Police Station OC Mizanur Rahman said the two cousins were accused in many cases of extortion by terror, according to bdnews24.com.
