Two motorcyclists killed in Dhaka road crash

Two motorcyclists were killed when a truck hit their motorcycle at Shanir Akhra in Jatrabari area of the capital early Sunday, as they were returning from Noakhali after attending a wedding ceremony, reports UNB.
The deceased were identified as Khairul Hossain, 22, a second-year student of Bhashantek Government College and son of Harun Mia of Kishoreganj, and Md Yeasin, 27, son of Foyez Uddin of Laxmipur. Both of them used to live in Bhashantek area.
The accident occurred at around 11:00 pm when the truck hit the motorcycle carrying them, leaving them critically injured. Later, they were taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared them dead around 12:30am.
On information, police seized the truck, but could not arrest anyone.
