Two muggers killed in lynch-mob attack

JESSORE, May 25 (UNB): Two muggers were killed in a lynch-mob attack at Hudorajapur on Jessore-Magura road in Sadar upazila early Monday.
The deceased were identified as Ismael Hossain (38), son of Billal Hossain, a resident of Sheikhhati village and Alamin (28), son of Abdul Aziz, a resident of Arpara village of the upazila.
Officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station Shikder Akkas Ali said the duo came in the area riding on a motorcycle and intercepted one Barun's private car and tried to snatch valuables from him around 10:30 pm on Sunday.
Hearing Barun's scream, local people rushed to the spot and caught them after a hot chase.
