Two Pakistanis held with Tk 1.3m forged Indian rupee

Two Pakistanis and a local were arrested with forged Indian currency worth over Tk 1.3 million from a residential hotel at Malibagh in the city Monday, the police said.
Detective Branch (DB) of police disclosed this at a press briefing at its Minto Road headquarters.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of plainclothes DB policemen raided Mouban Hotel at about 4:00pm and arrested Pakistani nationals Mohammad Danish, Sabbir Ali and a Bangladeshi citizen, Fatema Akhter Opi, for their alleged dealing in fake Indian currency.
After searching the hotel room, the police recovered the fake Indian rupee.
