Two roads being constructed in Habiganj

Our Correspondent HABIGANJ, Apr 13: Construction works of 2 roads started at Lakhai and Sadar upazila at a cost of Tk 17.00 million in Habiganj Saturday. Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) is implementing the project in current fiscal. The under construction roads are: 2-km long Habiganj Khowai embankment-cattle market construction works and 1.6 km long Vhadikara-Madnabazar road under Lakhai upazila. Advocate Md. Abu Zahir MP laid the founding stone of those projects Saturday noon. Upazila chairman Rafique Ahmed, AL president Mahfuzul Alam Mahfuz, concerned engineers and locals were present on the occasion. LGED hopes the works will be completed during current fiscal. About twenty thousand people will be benefited on completion of the roads, local people said.
