Two robbers lynched

Two suspected robbers were killed in a mass beating in the city's Nokdapara under Dakshinkhan Tuesday morning. The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. Local sources said, a gang of robbers swooped on the house of one Touhid of the area at about 3am. But, as they tried to loot valuables, the inmates started screaming. Hearing their cry for help, local people rushed in, and chased the robbers. Then, they caught two of them, and gave a good beating, leaving them dead on the spot. — UNB
