Two robbers, two muggers lynched

Four alleged robbers were killed in mob beating in Narsingdi and Mymensingh districts Wednesday night and Thursday, reports UNB.
In Narsingdi, two robbers were killed in a mass beating when they along with their accomplices raided a house at Sheker Char Fultola village in Sadar Upazila early Thursday.
Local people said the robbers stormed into the house of Promod Saha at about 3.00 am and hearing the hue and cry of the inmates they rushed to the spot and caught three of them.
They later gave them a good beating killing Sagar, 22, and Sujan, 20, on the spot. They also handed over another robber Amir Hossain, 18, to the police.
UNB Mymensingh correspondent adds: Two muggers were beaten to death at Kashibazar in Trishal Upazila on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway Wednesday night.
Police said a gang of muggers, numbering 4/5, was snatching valuables intercepting the pedestrians, who were passing the Kashibazar at about 10.00 pm.
Hearing the shouts of the pedestrians, local people rushed to the spot and caught two of them, identified as Dulal, 35, and Jamal, 40. They beat them up mercilessly killing them on the spot.
Police recovered the bodies and sent those to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
