Two Rohingya leaders shot dead in Cox's Bazar

Two Rohingya community leaders have been shot dead at a refugee camp in Cox's Bazar's Ukhiya, reports bdnews24.com.
The incident occurred around midnight on Tuesday in the Palankhanli Union-15 Jamtali Camp's C-Block, according to Mohammad Shihab Kaisar Khan, a commander of the Armed Police Battalion.
The dead are Abu Taleb (40), community head of Camp-15 and son of Abdur Rahim and Syed Hossain (35) and son of Imam Hossain. Taleb was the chief of the C-Block, while Hossain was the leader of a sub-block.
Additional superintendent of Armed Police Battalion (APBn)-8, Kamran Hossain, said that 8 to10 armed men came to Asia Begum Shed of the camp and opened fire on Taleb and Hossain around 11.45 pm, leaving them injured on the spot.
Locals rushed them to the Jamtali Rohingya Camp MSF Hospital, where doctors on duty declared Hossain dead."
Taleb was sent to the Kutupalong MSF Hospital. Doctors there declared him dead after he arrived.
