Two siblings drown in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, July 22 (UNB): Two siblings drowned in a pond at Moktarpur near Sarda Police Academy in Charghat upazila on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Mizanur Rahman Mizan, 6 and Marzan Ali, 8-two sons of Tara Mia.
Golam Martuza, officer-in-charge of Charghat Police Station, said Mizan slipped into the pond while taking bath around 1 pm and drowned. As his brother Marjan tried to save him he also drowned in the pond.
Locals rushed them to Charghat Upazila Health Complex where the doctors declared them dead.
