Two siblings killed over dispute in Ctg

Two siblings were killed in an attack by their rival groups over dispute relating to trade in Badamtali area in Chittagong city on Friday night. The deceased were identified as Faridul Alam, 45, and his younger brother Abu Siddique, 42, sons of Abdus Sabur of Munshibari area. The two brothers were critically injured when their rival group, equipped homemade lethal weapons, swooped on them. They were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where the on duty doctor declared them dead. Sub-Inspector (SI) Abul Kalam Azad of Chandgaon Police Station said police were investigating the incident. Additional forces of police were deployed in the area to avert further deterioration of situation.
