Two slaughtered in Nilphamari

Some unidentified miscreants slaughtered two persons and left their bodies at Binnyakuri village near Teesta Barrage Canal under Kishoreganj upazila in Nilphamari district on Sunday night, police said. The dead are Khairul Islam, 32, son of Aiyub Ali of Dakshin Barovita Paschimpara village and fish trader Mrinal Boishya, 35, son of Sadhan Boishya of nearby Grameen Bank Para area under Kishoreganj upazila. Police recovered the bodies, took those to Kishoreganj police station. Police also recovered the motorcycle of Khairul Islam from Totua area, about three kilometres from the spot, under Ronchondi union in the same upazila. The reason of the killings could not be known, according to BSS.
