Two stabbed to death in capital

Two youths, including a driver of Opsonin Pharmaceutical Ltd, were stabbed to death in separate incidents in the city early Saturday. The victims were identified as Md Aminul Islam (30), driver of Opsonin Pharmaceutical Ltd, and Md Shaheen, a welder. Family sources said Aminul came under attack by some assailants when he returned to his office in New Easkaton area at about 3.50 am to park his car after dropping an employee of the company at Goran. They stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him critically wounded. Aminul was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead in the early morning. Meanwhile, Md Shaheen was stabbed to death by muggers at Kusumbagh in Purbo Jurain. -- UNB
