Two to die for keeping drugs

KUSHTIA, Sept 02 (UNB): A court here on Monday convicted two people and sentenced them to death for possessing drugs.
The convicts are-Rubel, 21, son of Khejmot Manddal and Bhangon Mandal, 22, son of Moslem Mandal of Mohammadpur village in Daulatpur Upazila of the district.
According to the prosecution, a team of Narcotics Control Department in a drive arrested Rubel and Bhangon along with 800 grams of heroin from the village on October 19, 2017.
Tarique Masud, inspector of Kushtia Narcotics Control Department filed the case with Daulatpur Police Station.
