Two Varsity students injured

KHULNA, Nov 7 (UNB): Two students of the Khulna University (KU) were injured in a road accident near Gallamari Bridge in the city Thursday.
Police said the accident took place at about 9:00 am when a Dhaka bound Shohagh Paribahan bus hit the rickshaw carrying the two female students, leaving them seriously injured.
Sharmin Akhter and Sabina Khatun Nipa, both 4th year students of Marine and Fisheries Department, were rushed to Khulna Medical College Hospital.
As the news spread over the campus, the agitated students put barricade on the Khulna-Satkhira highway at 1:00 pm snapping the road communication for two hours.
