Two Wasa engrs suspended for corruption

Two engineers of Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (Wasa) have been temporarily suspended for alleged bribery and other corruption charges, said a press release.
They are- superintending engineer Md Saidul Islam and executive engineer Sheikh Md Ruhul Amin. The temporary suspension order came into effect from (April 21) Saturday.
The allegation came while they were working in the drainage department. A departmental case has been filed and investigation is going on in this regard.
