Two women killed in grenade explosion

BANDARBAN, Dec 12: Two women were killed in a grenade explosion at Langir Char in Sadar Upazila Friday. The deceased were identified as Saleha Begum (30), and Rozina Begum (18). Police said the two women found a grenade when they were grazing their cattle on the bank of the Sangu River in the morning. As they tried to open its pin, the grenade exploded, killing the two on the spot, they added. Police recovered the bodies and sent to Bandarban Sadar Hospital. — UNB
