Two youths drown in Kishoreganj

KISHOREGANJ, Jul 04 (UNB): Two college students drowned while visiting a friend's wedding in Karimganj upazila of Kishoreganj.
The deceased were identified as Sharfuddin Rafu, 24, and Limon Islam, 23. They were residents of Nakhalpara area of Dhaka's Tejgaon.
The accident took place at Gunodhar Haor of Gunodhar union in Kishoreganj's Karimganj upazila on Tuesday.
Quoting the locals, Karimganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Shamsul Alam Siddique said Rafu and Limon came to attend the wedding of their friend Tauqir Ahmed, son of Saifuddin of Madan village of Gundhar union.
