Meherpur Kabi Nazrul Shikkha Manjil clinched the title of Standard Chartered Young Tigers Under-16 National School Cricket beating Chittagong Railway Hospital Colony City Corporation High School by one wicket in an exciting final at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium at Mirpur in Dhaka Tuesday, reports UNB.
Minhajuddin Rubel of the runners-up Chittgaong Railway Hospital Colony School was adjudged the man of the tournament for his all-round show.
Rubel also emerged the highest scorer in the tournament with 445 runs in eight matches while Abdul Latif Ratul of Feni Chhagalnaiya Pilot High School adjudged the best bowler taking highest 25 wickets from six matches
Head of the Human Resources of Standard Chartered Bank Sandeep Mukharjee was the chief guest in the final and distributed prizes.
