Bangladesh Under-19 team will need 245 runs in reply to Australian Under-19 team score of 244 for six wickets to be the Group-B champion after the third and last match of the ICC Under-19 World Cup Cricket at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. The Young Tigers confirmed their quarterfinal berth securing full four points beating their rivals earlier in the two group matches, as they hold the top slot in the Group B. They beat Afghanistan by 10 wickets with 45 balls remaining in the first match on Saturday (February15) and defeated Namibia in the second match by 52 runs on Wednesday (February 17). In the days match against Australia, Bangladesh scored 79 for 1 in 18 overs when last report came in, with opener Shadman Islam (not out 29) pairing with Litton Das (not out 43) contributing 69 runs in the partnership. Earlier, sent into bat first, Australia scored 244 for six wickets in 50 overs with Jake Doran scoring not out 99 from 124 balls while skipper Alex Gregory made 48 runs off 82 balls, according to UNB.
