UAP accords reception to freshers

The University of Asia Pacific (UAP) accorded a reception to 723 newly admitted students in the Spring - 2011 semester in the auditorium of Dhaka Residential Model College recently, said a press release. Engineer M Abu Taher, chairperson of the Board of Trustees was the chief guest while Prof Dr MR Kabir, acting vice-chancellor of UAP, presided over the function. Among others, Treasurer Dr M Alauddin, Dean, Professor Shamsul Wares, Registrar Maj Gen Kazi Ashfaq Ahmed (retd), heads of all the departments, faculty members and students of UAP attended the programme.
