UCB PLC holds board meeting under new leadership

The newly formed board of United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) held its first meeting at its corporate head office on Wednesday. UCB Chairman Sharif Zahir presided over the meeting. Md. Shazzad Hossoin, Vice-Chairman of UCB; Md. Tanvir Khan, Chairman of the Executive Committee; Md. Yusuf Ali, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee; Obaidur Rahman, Chairman of the Audit Committee; and Syed Faridul Islam, Managing Director and acting CEO of UCB, were present in the meeting along with others from the senior management.
