UCB signs deal with Trade Int’l Industries

United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) has signed an agreement with Trade International Industries Ltd., a concern of Electro Mart Ltd. and the sole distributor of internationally renowned brands GREE, KONKA and HAIKO in Bangladesh.
Trade International Industries Ltd. is one of the country's leading players in the consumer electronics and home appliance industry, says a Press Release.
Under the agreement, UCB will provide comprehensive banking services with a special focus on efficient payment collection from Trade International Industries Ltd.'s nationwide network of distributors and dealers, utilizing UCB's extensive branch network across the country.
Recently the agreement signing ceremony was held at the Corporate Office of Trade International Industries Ltd. The agreement was signed by Nurul Afser, Deputy Managing Director of Trade International Industries Ltd., and Shahbaj Talat, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the Transaction Banking Division of United Commercial Bank PLC, on behalf of their respective organisations.
