UCB unveils new logo

United Commercial Bank (UCB) has formally launched its new logo.
The sketched new logo was presented to Chairman of the bank MA Hashem and Managing Director Muhammed Ali by prominent artists namely Mustafa Manwar and Rafiqun Nabi at a ceremony in the city Thursday, said a press release.
Among others, Vice Chairman of the bank Ahmed Arif Billah, Chairman of the Executive Committee (EC) Anisuzzaman Chowdhury Ronny, Chairman of Risk Management Committee MA Sabur, Chairman of Audit Committee Lieutenant General Abu Tayeb Muhammad Zahirul Alam, rcds, psc (retd), directors Sharif Zahir, Md Jahangir Alam Khan, Hajee MA Kalam, Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury, Asifuzzaman Chowdhury, Sultana Rezia Begum, Shabbir Ahmed and Nurul Islam Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
Additional managing directors of the bank M Shahidul Islam and Mirza Mahmud Rafiqur Rahman, deputy managing directors Md Tariqul Azam, Mohammad Shawkat Jamil, Golam Awlia and Md Abdul Jabber Chowdhury along with distinguished guests were also present at the logo launching ceremony.
The new logo of the bank is inspired by the caring attitude that promotes unity, progress and advancement. It is an artistic combination of two hands that symbolises togetherness, the release added.
