UCEP students post 90pc success rate in SSC exams

Friday, 15 June 2007

FE Report
The performance of UCEP (Underprivileged Children's Education Programmes) students notched a success rate of around 90 per cent in the SSC (Vocational) Examination comparing to 51.8 per cent overall pass percentage in this year's SSC (Vocational) Examination under the Technical Education Board.
A total of 66 students of UCEP appeared in the examination of whom only 7 students received referral. This is no doubt a splendid result for the UCEP students, the working children who receive free education at UCEP. This was the first batch of SSC (Vocational) Examinees from UCEP schools.
