UGC for establishing IQAC in BRAC Univ

With a view to enhancing the quality education in tertiary level, BRAC University has been awarded a total of Tk 20,146,800 (8,000,000 + 12,146,800 as block allocation), for the establishment of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) under the guidelines of Quality Assurance Unit of University Grants Commission (UGC).
BRAC University has also decided to contribute Tk 8.0 million (in addition to the above total) as matching fund for the three-year project. The performance contract signing ceremony was held at the UGC recently.
BRAC University's Vice Chancellor, Prof Syed Saad Andaleeb and Md Tafazzal Hussain, Director IQAC, BRAC University were present at the signing ceremony along with other officials from both UGC and BRAC University.
