UGC members Sajjad, Alamgir reappointed for another term

Prof Md Sajjad Hossain and Prof Muhammad Alamgir have been reappointed as a full-time member of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC), reports UNB.
They have been appointed as members for the next four years. They will be entitled to salaries and other benefits similar to the first term, Ministry of Education issued two separate orders in this regard on Monday, said a press release on Monday.
Prior to joining the UGC as a member in 2019, Prof Sajjad served as the head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh and Pro Alamgir served as the vice-chancellor of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology for two terms.
