UGC reps visit SUB

CHITTAGONG, Aug 22: A team of the University Grants Commission (UGC) has recently visited the Southern University Bangladesh (SUB). Professor Akhter Hossain, member of the UGC along with a number of other members discussed about activities of the SUB.
Head of civil engineering department Prof Hazrat Ali (CUET), Prof Shahadat, department of CSE, Prof Abdullah al Mamun, department of management information system and Prof Kamrul Islam, department of chemistry of Chittagong University were present as expert representatives of UGC.
The UGC members also visited several departments, class rooms, library, laboratory, computer lab and auditorium.
Following the visit the UGC members met vice chancellor of SUB Mohammad Ali. Founder and treasurer Sarwar Jahan, pro-VC Dr Sharifuzzaman, adviser of Civil Engineering faculty Prof Mozammel Hoque, dean of the faculty of Business Admin ANM Abdul Muktadir, head of the faculty of Civil Engineering Prof Engineer Ali Ashraf, head of the faculty of Computer Science and Engineering Dr Nurul Mostafa, head of the faculty of Business Administration Israt Jahan and registrar Montazul Islam Chowdhury were present during the discussion.
