UIU's BBA in AIS gets accreditation from IIA, USA

The BBA in Accounting and Information Systems (AIS) programme of the United International University (UIU) achieved the "academic alliance" accreditation from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), USA. IIA is a partner of AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), said a press release.
UIU is the second university in Bangladesh to receive this international recognition. It has been listed as an academic affiliate-level university within the IIA's Internal Audit Academic Alliance Programme. IIA officially delivered a letter to UIU on Sunday, acknowledging this accreditation. This accreditation demonstrates the academic excellence of the UIU's BBA in AIS programme within the global field of internal auditing. The curriculum is now formally recognised for its alignment with the highest international standards for internal audit education, it added.
