UK law school introduces online programme for BD students

BPP University Law School, a leading provider of legal education in the UK has launched their first ever distance learning programme for law undergraduates in Bangladesh, allowing them to work towards a globally-recognised LLB degree online.BPP University has also partnered with the London College for Legal Studies (LCLS) in Bangladesh to support the programme.
Speaking at a ceremony titled “Celebrating Legal Excellence in Bangladesh”, organised at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka recently, Professor Peter Crisp, Dean and CEO of BPP University Law School said, “We are keen to support the flourishing legal sector in Bangladesh and this event is about recognising the advances that have been made, as well as the challenges ahead, in Bangladesh.” “Our new online programme will allow students to work around existing job and family commitments to earn a world-class professional qualification, learning from experienced barristers and solicitors over BPP’s award-winning online learning environment”, he added. “The degrees that students earn online are exactly the same, in terms of quality of teaching and the end qualification, as those earned by students in the UK”, Peter Crisp confirmed. Among others Barrister Amirul Islam, veteran lawyer, Professor Julian Davies, Director of LLB programmes at BPP, Khaled Hamid Chowdhury, Head of Laws LCLS spoke on the occasion, according to a statement.
