UK visa fees raised

UK visa fees have been raised by up to 2.5 per cent, said a handout of the UK Border Agency Thursday. The new rates will become effective from April 6. The agency also announced introduction of a new visa category of "dependent relative" that would allow grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles and siblings above 18 to join their family, settled in the UK.
