Ukrainian strikes on occupied towns, border village kill 6

MOSCOW, July 26 (AFP): Ukrainian strikes on Moscow-occupied territory and a Russian border village killed six people Sunday, as this summer sees a significant rise in civilian deaths in the more than four-year war.
A Russian attack on a residential building in Ukraine's Kharkiv killed another person, Kyiv said.
The strikes come a day after 20 people were killed on both sides of the frontline, with both Kyiv and Moscow intensifying attacks while diplomacy to end the war-launched by Russia in 2022 -- is at a deadlock.
