ULAB signs MoU with Indian firm NIIT Limited

With a view to ensuring the cutting-edge technology and industry driven courses, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian company NIIT Limited, according to a press release.
ULAB Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr HM Jahirul Haque and Pankaj Mamtani of NIIT Ltd signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations at the ULAB Bhaban at Dhanmondi in the city recently.
Adviser to the board of trustees of ULAB Prof Imran Rahman and Sanjib Ghosh of NIIT, Dr AKM Muzahidul Islam, Dr Farhana Sarker and Dr Mohammad Shahriar Rahman from ULAB CSE department and Shafquat Alam from GETCO were present on the occasion.
Under the MoU, ULAB students will also be able to visit NIIT's various facilities in India to acquire advanced knowledge in the area of information and technology.
ULAB's final year students will be able to pursue internship at NIIT.
