UN experts on human rights, water in city

UN independent expert on human rights, water and sanitation Catarina de Albuquerque and another expert on human rights and extreme poverty Magdalena SepĂșlveda arrived in the city Thursday on a week's visit, reports UNB.
The arrival of the two UN experts was announced by Human Rights Forum on Universal Periodic Review (UPR) in Bangladesh at a press conference Thursday.
Human rights activist Sayeed Ahmed read out a written statement at the press conference while former adviser of caretaker government Adv Sultana Kamal, chief executive of Nagorik Udyog Zakir Hossain and president of Bangladesh Dalit & Excluded Rights Movement Bothanki Soloman also spoke on the occasion.
