UN resident coordinator meets Jamaat Ameer

UN Resident Coordinator in Dhaka, Gwyn Lewis, has met with Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman, report agencies.
The meeting took place at the Ameer's office in capital's Bashundhara on Tuesday.
Lewis was accompanied by Huma Khan, the human rights adviser to the UN resident representative.
According to a statement released by Jamaat, the meeting was conducted in a 'sincere and cordial atmosphere'.
Discussions inclued the political and human rights situation in Bangladesh and the Rohingya crisis.
