Thursday, 18 September 2014

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon again urged the political parties in Bangladesh to sit for dialogue. There is no alternative to political dialogue for consensus among all parties and peaceful solution to the problems. Ban made the call in a message on the occasion of 40 anniversary of Bangladesh becoming the member of United Nations (UN). In his message, Ban said all democratic parties have to go through essential process for political development. And Bangladesh is no exception, the UN chief said. Bangladesh is currently facing a number of challenges like climate change, child marriage and infra-structural development, Ban mentioned, according to a news agency.
