UN stands in solidarity with BD response to Chawkbazar fire

United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres condoled the loss of lives and destructions caused by the devastating fire in the Chawkbazar area of the city and commended the efforts taken by national emergency services responding to the fire and assist those in need. "I wish to assure you that the United Nations stands in solidarity and support at this critical time," the UN chief said in a message sent to President Abdul Hamid on Friday. — UNB
