UN, WB chiefs pay tributes to Bangabandhu

United Nations (UN) Secretary General Antonio Guterres and World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim visited on Sunday Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in the city's Dhanmondi, reports UNB.
They placed floral wreaths at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and paid tributes to him. They also signed visitors' book there.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam accompanied them.
UN Resident Coordinator in Dhaka Mia Seppo, among others, was present.
Earlier, the UN and WB chiefs met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and discussed various issues with special focus on Rohingya issue.
