Saturday, 7 June 2014

Communications Minister Obaidul Quader reiterated Friday that unauthorised vehicles like 'Easybike', 'Nosimon' and 'Korimon' will not be allowed to ply highways because of public life security concern, reports UNB.
Talking to reporters while inspecting work on Dhaka-Chittagong four-lane highway project at Paduar Bazar in Comilla, the minister also said, "The ministry of commerce (MoC) has been asked to stop machinery import of Easybike, Nosimon and Korimon. Directives have also been issued to stop the operation of transport vehicle-manufacturing factories in the country."
Quader, also a presidium member of ruling Awami League, said construction of Dhaka-Chittagong four-lane highway will be completed by December next as 95 per cent earth filing work has already been completed.
