Unhygienic condition under Mayor Hanif Flyover

The situation under the Mayor Mohammad Hanif Flyover is very
miserable. The flyover is no doubt a big help for the public.But the stench from the stable, chicken coop and piled up trash under the flyover make it unbearablefor the public to pass that area with ease. It is a serious matter that this has been the case for some years. We expected that Dhaka South City Corporation would take adequate measures to improve the situation. In the original plan of the Flyover, it was stated that there would be plantsunder the Flyoverfor beautification purpose.
Now instead of beautiful flowers, we get to see trash there. Is it completely impossible to clean that place? Can we expect to have a clean view under the Flyover? We urge the authorities concerned to take action to improve the existing unhygienic condition there.
