Unidentified body found at DU

Police have recovered the body of an unidentified man from a road in front of a dormitory of Dhaka University (DU). The body was recovered around 10.30am on Wednesday, acting Proctor Amzad Ali said. The body of a man, aged around 55, was found on the street in front of the Shahidullah Hall. The proctor assumed age and over consumption of alcohol might be the reason of the man’s death. Shahbagh police handed over the body to Anjuman Mofidul Islam, a charity organisation that buries unclaimed bodies. The hall’s students said alcoholics are often seen lying in different areas of the campus, according to bdnews24.com.
